The farm will hold a grape picking festival on August 20. It’s expected to yield 225,000 kg of grapes and generate 4 million yuan this year.

The industrial development result made by this village is inseparable from the assistance provided by the China Telecom Hunan Branch. The company fully leverages its advantages and uses cutting-edge technologies like 5G and the Internet of Things to achieve precise monitoring and management of vineyards, greatly improving the quality and yield of grapes.

Today, the village is actively exploring a new model of integrated industrial development of agriculture, culture and tourism. “After the grape picking festival, we plan to jointly develop a grape restaurant with the village collective. Relying on the natural spring water in the vineyard, we will create a leisure and picking interactive experience project. I have confidence in increasing grape production to 300,000 kg and achieving an income of 5 million yuan next year,” said Tang Zhenming who was excited about his vision for future life.

In the future, China Telecom Hunan Branch will continue to increase efforts to help the village further improve the smart agricultural system, and promote the upgrading and development of the grape industry, cured meat processing industry and lily-rice rotation industry, so as to promote rural revitalization.
